Another Happy Gay Binational Couple can stay together in the United States after years of struggle and separation! My clients and I went to the USCIS Field Office on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 650 Capitol Mall in Sacramento, CA. After going through the security check, we checked in with the USCIS officer on the second floor. Soon after checking in, a very professional immigration officer let us in to her office to interview my clients for foreign national spouse’s green card eligibility. My clients swore to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Once that was done, I submitted our package proving the bona fides of their relationship including many photos, affidavits from friends and family members, and many other joint documents. The officer went through the original documents to see all the information submitted was correct. Then she reviewed the package we submitted and started asking questions about my clients’ relationship along with all the green card eligibility questions. Overall, the interview went very smoothly that morning. We very very happy when we left the immigration office. I really love to see my clients so happy and stress-free once the interview is over. It’s the best part of my job.
All my best,
Okan Sengun, Esq.
